In the Combined Cycle market Tecnatom began to offer its services at the beginning of the nineties to the Elcogás power plant, training all levels of personnel in Operation and Maintenance, cooperating in the commissioning of tests on components, equipment and systems in the mechanical, chemical, electrical and instrumentation and control areas, drawing up procedures for all the areas and, together with ENEL, developing the total scope simulator for training fundamentally operation personnel for both the combined cycle and the rest of the coal gasification plant. Tecnatom currently still provides support in the updating of the simulator and in engineering activities for supporting the operation of the plant.

Likewise, Tecnatom has given training courses for Operation and Maintenance personnel, support to the commiccioning and exploitation in the following combined cycle plants: San Roque, Besós, Tarragona, Castellón, Castejón, Son Reus I and II, Granadilla and Barranco Tirajana.

Training, inspection and test activities have been carried out abroad in the following power plants and countries: Hermosillo, Naco Nogales, Tuxpan, Altamira II, Monterrey, Saltillo and Rio Bravo III and IV in Mexico, Carregado in Portugal, Dock-Sud in Argentina, San Isidro in Chile and Hong Wan in Macao.
